FLOWER

You  are  so lovely and fair

Sweet-scented, of yourself you care.

in the dawn, your smile and glare

sooner, in the dusk,  fades with no care

Men and women, your beauty bear

heartless,  on their crest, they wear

your limbs and pollens, crush and tear

day and night, the caresses you bear

Flashy bees, upon you, flutter the wings

Sweet ditties and their  lovely sings

You weep and weep, yourself to keep

Nay, the bees and birds see, you weep

Far and far, you haste so soon

No, I see your smile in the noon

Silent and  you weep and weep

Even the stalk, nay, you keep
